		<description>It saves one heck of a lot of grief at the end of a book when you&#039;re trying to figure out the balance of the ending. Of course you can adjust the number (sad ending but the hero lives through it? 40%).

		<description>I like that rule.  I hate the endings where they get everything with no cost and it all ends happily ever after.  I feel cheated and it makes the ending feel really unbelievable (though given I read fantasy that seems like an odd statment).  60%.  Brilliant.</description>
